How Is Plastic Wrap Made?

Granules of plastic are heated up to the point where they melt. After that, the liquid is driven through a die to create a tube made of plastic that can be stretched. A bubble is produced by forcing pressurized air through a series of tubes. The bubble causes the plastic to expand to the correct thicknesses as it moves through the process.
